Ditholo Wildlife Estate is located in the heart of the Bushveld, embraced by eloping savannahs, majestic mountain ranges, plains, flats and ravines. The closest business districts are small towns of Bela-Bela, Brits and Thabazimbi. This private and secure wildlife estate prides itself on being at the forefront of wilderness management, species repopulation and diversification.

The Estate is an accredited member of the Wildlife Ranching Association of South Africa (WRSA).

Strict Homeowners covenants ensure that a minimum impact or footprint is left in the developed areas of the Estate, ensuring minimum intrusion into the biosphere.

Blesbok, Kudu, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Gemsbok, Impala, Bushbuck, Duiker, Brown Hyena, Steenbok, Waterbuck, Warthog, Ostrich, Rooi Hartebeest, Eland, Blue Wildebeest, Porcupine, Genet, Caracal, Serval, Civet, Honey Badger, Mongoose, Bush Baby, Vervet Monkeys, Aardvark and the occasional Leopard.

Birdlife

Ditholo Wildlife Esate is home to more than 250 species of birds. One of the most unique and endearing features of Ditholo is the waterhole where many species of waterbirds can be viewed along with our resident family of hippos.

Ditholo Wildlife Estate offers its members and owners the opportunity to enjoy all the spoils of nature. From the wide variety of antelope and other game species to a rich bird life, a diverse selection of indigenous shrubs and veld flowers, lovely trees, butterflies and yes, even some bugs, amphibia and reptiles.

Enjoy all that Mother Natures puts on display for you when embarking on one of our lovely hiking trails or cycling on one of the reserves many dirt roads.
