Accommodation at Ditholo Wildlife Estate comprises four lovely lodges all comfortably furnished to accommodate families or groups of up to 6 persons sharing.

1. Kudu Lodge is located within Ditholo Wildlife Estate, a 1000-hectare of the pristine indigenous African forest, preserved with a variety of fauna and flora to ensure sustainability. The estate is situated in the heart of the Limpopo set against the beautiful backdrop of the Waterberg mountains.

Accommodation at Kudu Lodge comprises 4 separate rooms each with its own private entrance, wooden deck area, and en-suite bathroom. There are 2 rooms furnished with king-size beds and 2 furnished with twin beds. These luxury rooms share a communal lapa with an open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen. The lounge area has a large L-shape leather couch. The dining area has an 8-seater dining room table and a built-in braai. The living area leads out onto a wooden deck area with an attached swimming pool and boma area. There are game driving vehicles available for game drives.

The reserve offers various hiking trails, cycling routes, and game viewing trails, there is also a restaurant, bar and spa. Ditholo Wildlife Estate is the perfect bush getaway only 230 km from Johannesburg.

2. Duiker Lodge is located within Ditholo Wildlife Estate, a 100-hectare of pristine indigenous African forest, preserved with a variety of fauna and flora to ensure sustainability. The estate is situated in the heart of the Limpopo set against a beautiful backdrop of the Waterberg mountains.

Accommodation at Duiker Lodge is provided in 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The second bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and 2 single beds in the loft space. The third bedroom is a loft area furnished with 3 single beds. The first and second bedrooms have each an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath as well as sliding doors leading out onto a wooden deck.

The lodge comprises an open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen. The lounge area has a large L-shape couch. The dining area has an 8-seater dining room table and a built-in braai. The living area leads out onto a wooden deck area with an attached swimming pool and boma area.

The reserve offers various hiking trails, cycling routes, and game viewing trails, there is also a restaurant, bar, and spa. Ditholo Wildlife Estate is the perfect bush getaway only 230 km from Johannesburg.

The surrounding area is rich in game farms, hunting farms and golf courses. Within 30 minutes is Zebula golf course, Elements golf course, and Euphoria golf course. For children entertainment, there is the Aventura water park in Bela Bela as well as Walking with the Elephants in Zebula or feeding the lions at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve.

3. 42@Ditholo Wildlife Estate

42@Ditholo Game Lodge allows you to enjoy the bush on your terms; leisurely and privately.

It is a luxurious and welcoming four-bedroomed private lodge situated inside a wildlife estate, and an ideal bush get away.

It is set deep in the bush, wondrously far away from the hustle and bustle, in a malaria free area near BelaBela, Limpopo Province and about two and half hours from Johannesburg. Giraffes, Kudus, and a variety of wildlife roam freely, and do come for a visit on their merry walks.

4. Ditholo Game Lodge
Escape the stresses of city life by reconnecting with nature at the beautiful Ditholo Game Lodge, surrounded by lush indigenous bush that is home to a rich selection of Africa’s wildlife.

The lodge mainly caters to small groups, couples and families.

The lodge features quaint thatched rooms that lend themselves to the natural environment, all of our accommodations are surrounded by landscaped grounds, outdoor seating.

Standard Rooms

Our Standard Rooms feature 2 separate beds, en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar (stocked on request) and Flat Screen TV.

Deluxe Suites

Our Deluxe Suites have a king sized bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar (stocked on request) and Flat Screen TV.

Family Suites

Our Family Suite sleeps 4 People and has two separate bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms with shower. The suites have a lounge with a Flat Screen TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan and mini bar (stocked on request).

Lodge Restaurant

The restaurant serves as the hub of Ditholo Lodge, traditional thatch and wood vaulted ceilings, wrap around views with a centred serving and buffet station. The menu offers a wholesome approach to an authentic bush dining experience. Specialties are our expansive Breakfast spreads and the sumptuous Dinner menu.

Outdoor African Boma

Guests can enjoy a traditional African Boma Dinner experience that’s takes place every Saturday evening and on special occasions by arrangement. Indulge in dinner under the stars with friends and family while soaking in the sounds and ambiance of the African night. This popular experience is set around a warm log fire pit for a truly unforgettable African safari experience.

Lakeside Bar & Deck

The Lakeside Bar is a popular meeting area complete with a relaxing four-sided log fireplace and comfortable lounge area providing pre-dinner drinks or an after dinner nightcap. Guests can play a game of pool or watch a sporting event on our Flat screen TV or just relax outside on the deck overlooking the water features.

Swimming Pool

The Lodge’s swimming pool is surrounded by chez loungers with umbrellas. The pool’s central location makes it a popular relaxation and gathering spot, poolside service is available.

Guided Bush Walks & Tree Trails

Ditholo has clearly marked trails for the nature enthusiast that wishes to explore and enjoy the natural tranquility of the African bush. For ease of use the lodge has a walking trail and a separate tree trail with clearly marked identifiers.

Bakwena Deluxe Spa

Bakwena Express Spa provides a traditional African spa experience in the heart of South Africa’s. A good selection of treatments from full massage through to pampering manicures and pedicures is available.

Bird Watching

The Lodge is a birdwatchers paradise, with an elevated viewing deck and a thatched blind overlooking our water features. Ditholo is a fully accredited and recommended BirdLife™ South Africa establishment.

Fishing

The Lodge is surrounded by 3 distinct water features with native Tilapia, Catfish and Largemouth Bass. Fishing is available at a small fee, and done on a strictly catch and release basis.

Game Drives

Nothing represents a true wildlife experience like a guided Game Drive, get to see the Lodge’s Fauna and Flora up close and personal. The drives are conducted by a professional Game Ranger and binoculars, reference materials and refreshments are all provided.

Mountain Biking

Mountain bike riding on the reserve, clients are required to bring their own MTB as Ditholo does not offer any for rental.
